Dr. Negar Mosallanejad is a UCLA alumna and proud Bruin, having earned her Bachelor’s degree at the University of California, Los Angeles. She went on to receive her Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from the Southern California College of Optometry.
As part of her clinical training, Dr. Negar completed externships at several leading medical institutions such as Cedars-Sinai Ophthalmology and the Department of Veterans Affairs, gaining experience in treatment and management of a variety of ocular conditions such as glaucoma, macular degeneration, cataracts, ocular surface and retinal disease. Dr. Negar also completed an externship at South Central Family Health Center where she gained extensive experience in managing diabetic and hypertensive ocular disease.
Dr. Negar enjoys building meaningful relationships with her patients and providing thoughtful, personalized eye care. She is committed to taking the time to educate patients and tailor treatment plans to their individual needs. Her goal is to help patients maintain clear vision and long-term eye health through attentive, comprehensive care. Dr. Negar is fluent in Persian (Farsi) and has limited clinical proficiency in Spanish.
In her free time, Dr. Negar enjoys spending time with family and friends, going on hikes, and trying new cuisines.
